Bold Lips and how to make it last.
I love bright colors when it comes to lipsticks, especially for a special occasion, an event, a special evening.
BUT it’s so important to do it right. First, you have to remember that it’s not for everyone, and if you feel uncomfortable or flashy with bright lips, it’ll show in your overall demeanor. So either practice wearing it or choose another color.
However, if you want to dress your face up with a hot pink or red color, here’s how it’s done.
Step #1
Prep your lips by exfoliating and moisturizing them with a lip balm.
My favorite exfoliators are by 24K skin care, ISun, and Chantecalle
Step #2
Remove the excess balm or a moisturizer by dabbing your lips with a tissue.
Step #3
Using lip liner, contour your lips. If you want to add some volume to your lips, step out your natural lip contour SLIGHTLY, not too much.
Same, just the opposite, in order to make your lips look a bit smaller. Just make sure to apply a foundation on your lips first.
Step #4
Using a lip liner, draw lines to bond it later with the lipstick and help it last longer.
My favorite lip liners are by Chanel, TomFord, and Bobbi Brown.
Step #5
Apply your lipstick
Step #6
Using loose powder, translucent color, dab it with a brush over the lipstick.
Step #7
Apply a second layer of your lipstick, dab it with a tissue and you’re ready to go.
My favorite reds are by Tom Ford, especially Vampire Kiss and Chanel, all of them 🙂
Hope this helps and you look gorgeous on your next day or at the party! Muah.
